
Hall & Ground Hire
The Showgrounds and the Hall are available to be hired for community, equestrian, sporting and school events. All hire applications are discussed by the committee before they are approved. Please contact Mel Morgan, Secretary/Treasurer/Booking Officer to book.
Things to know about hiring the Hall.
Our capacity is 110 people.
There are to be no flames/candles/heat source/matches/vapes/smoke within the hall. Battery operated candles are allowed.
Cooking spits are to be located outside of the hall/kitchen.
Because our grounds are used on a daily basis for RDA and other community events, unfortunately we do not allow the digging of hangi pits.
Any damage to the grounds will result in your bond being retained.
Things the Hall cannot be hired for.
We do not hire the hall out for parties, sixteen to twenty first parties, school balls or raves.

No dogs are permitted in the Showgrounds.
Whilst we are sure that your dog is very well-behaved, we do not allow dogs on site. We have horses and cattle on site, and are in a Kiwi-zone. The only allowance is that we allow service dogs on site, and those competing in dog trials. This includes camping.
No exceptions.
